I saw an interesting movie today of which we didn't hear much in France (well, not me at least), called "the help" and for some reason translated in french as "the colour of feelings" ... Story set up just before and during the civil rights movement in the US. Great movie, and it still astounds me thinking that racism and discrimination on that scale were (and are, in other ways) so common ... How can a mere human come up with so much crap ideas ? Same human who can also come up with such courage ... We are the strangest species of the planet.
Vu en VO aujourd'hui le film "la couleur des sentiments". Très bien, et bon rappel sur ce que l'humain peut pondre d'idée affreuses et ce qu'il peut faire de bon aussi, envers et contre tout.
اليوم شفت في السينما فيلم جميل اسمه "الجادم"، قصة تقع في الولاية المتحدة خلال المطالبات بانهاء التمييز العنصري (مع مارثين لوثر كينغ). فيلم يريك مدة الشر في الانسان ومدة شجعه في الوقت نفسه.
Autres films vus :
- "forces spéciales" : le plus beau taliban du monde est donc israélien. Si je m'étais doutée ... (référence à l'acteur Raz Degan).
- "polisse" : un film parisien avec des comédiens improbables sur un sujet que je pensais impossible à traiter ... Le choc : ce film est une réussite dingue.
- "contagion" : les américains savent donc se passer de leur insupportable grandiloquence quand ils le veulent, et ça donne un truc génial.
