Lire des ouvrages de géopolitique écrits avant le 11 septembre est une expérience surprenante (bien que connus depuis, c'est toujours étrange de lire ces faits) : on y découvre que les musulmans américains ont voté massivement pour Bush lors de son premier mandat, et que Ben Laden a établi son premier camp d'entraînement avec des armes américaines et des officiers américains pour entraîner les "volontaires" ( jihadistes ) ...

Et l'Histoire rigole.
